PHILOSOPHY

The philosophy of the Westview School is a simple one, based on the element of success. We recognize there are many young people who have learning differences which may hinder their levels of achievement in a traditional academic situation. However, with the right set of programs and individualized attention, these students enjoy perhaps their first taste of success in school. Since success does wonders for self-esteem, our students are enriched emotionally as well as academically.

We believe in the multi-faceted approach to education, including a full complement of academic courses, plus a variety of extra-curricular activities and enrichment programs. Small class sizes enhance the academic experience.

We strive for our Westview graduates to be educated, socially integrated and motivated to go out in the world and pursue their interests…successfully.
